Critical and Sarcastic Views on Selected European Cultures

After having emigrated from my native country Denmark in 1993, I have lived in several European countries. I have not stopped wondering about all the silly things people do differently in each country. On the following pages, you will find some of my opinions on various European cultures stated in fairly direct, not politically correct language.

WARNING ! You are likely to be offended while reading about your own country if you do not possess a good sense of humour. This site contains hard-core sarcasm, cultural chauvinism and indiscriminate ridicule. You can offload your fury or praise in the Disqus space at the end of each page.

The British Page

The Empire of the driving on the wrong side of the road, The Spice Girls and Shakespeare. In any matter, if the French are not the awkward ones, then the British are. "Europe" means the Continent.

The Danish Page

The State of Denmark is as rotten as ever. The Danes believe it's the best country in the world, or at least that is what they are instructed to believe. Danes who don't agree are arrested by police in their homes and locked up in a closed psychiatric ward.

La French Page

La République of protectionism, self-satisfied, arrogant frogs and dog poos. The French politicians believe they are the masters of Europe. The rest of Europe consider France the worst nuisance in Europe. France and Europe would be so much better without the French.
